Nursery
The nursery is a vital ministry of our church. Our volunteers are committed to providing high-quality care in a safe, loving and nurturing environment for infants through 2 year olds. Our desire is that parents have the opportunity to worship and hear God’s Word, confident that their young children are in a safe and loving place.
Each volunteer has been screened and trained to work in the nursery. While in our care, your child will be held, talked to, and prayed for.
We believe that children are God’s greatest earthly gift to a family. Every single baby is the creation of a loving God that has been entrusted to his or her parents for protection, love, and spiritual leadership. The Crosslife nursery provides special care to infants and toddlers that will contribute to their overall well-being as well as complement and strengthen the Christian nurturing your baby is experiencing at home.
Nursery Goals
- To help parents teach each child that God loves them through songs and Bible stories.
- To encourage the active participation of parents in worship and Bible Study.
- To help each child have a positive impression about coming to church.
- To help each child feel comfortable, secure, and special in our nursery.
- To help each child learn to play and share with other children.
How do I place my child in the Sunday morning nursery?
Before service, please make sure that you have filled out the child information card for each child (only needs to me filled out once). Join our church family for our family worship time in the auditorium. After family worship time, a nursery worker will offer to take your child for care during the rest of the service. If you prefer, you are also more than welcome at this time to take your child back for a smoother transition. A security number will be given to you at this time for a safe pick up after services.
Children’s Church Worship
Children’s Church Worship- (3 years old – 6th grade)
We are here to partner with parents to help spiritually nurture their children. It is our great joy to help children find the path God has designed specifically for them. We strive to provide a safe, secure, loving environment for children to participate in and where parents feel comfortable leaving their child. Each volunteer has been screened and trained to work in our children’s ministry.
Children’s Church Goals:
- Introduce children to the love of God and encourage them to love the Lord with all their heart, mind, and soul.
- Lead children to trust Christ as their personal Savior.
- Show children the way to develop a growing relationship with God through prayer and learning about God’s Word

Children’s Sunday School Classes
(3 years old- 8th grade)
Deuteronomy 6:4-7
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
What we do in Children’s Sunday School
- Emphasize application and response to God’s Word as well as learning facts and details.
- Develop meaningful, lifelong relationships with children the same age.
- Lead children to trust Christ as their personal Savior.
Teen Bible Study- (9th Grade-12th Grade+)
It is our goal to encourage and equip our teens to grow in their relationship with God. Our teens are learning the foundational truths of who God is, building lifelong friendships, and discovering how God wants to use them to impact their world.
